The hotel is comfortably located for Toscana and Em-Rom exploration. Close to Bologna but far enough from autostradas.
Very late wake up of pool staff. The hotel is more suitable for countryside party than for family holiday.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location and building stunning and beautiful pool area.
The room was disappointing, a bit shabby and small, a very old hard bed. ( maybe left by the monks !) we would book a suite next time.

The hotel's location on a hill in the scenic hills outside Bologna provided breathtaking views. The staff were helpful and printed our boarding passes for us. The room we had was large and well-appointed. The pool area was plush and well-equipped.
Nothing, all was good.

Good breakfast (italian coffees, fruit, cakes, yoghurt) served at the pool // excellent location on hilltop, town of dozza (fortress, many restaurants) nearby and easy access to bologna and small towns (riolo terme & brisighella are beautiful) // large pool // free internet // gorgeous mansion
Little info about surroundings from the staff // slightly outdated rooms // expensive food (but restaurants in nearby town - rivellino good pizza) // party on wednesday, weddings every now and then (see also comments below in other languages) but not during our 4 night stay // being renovated BUT.... we loved our stay :)

Excellent location and very nice historical building. The dinner and the service were also outstanding.
The breakfast is not quite at the level of the rest.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location of this place is simply stunning - situated on a beautiful hilltop with panoramic views of the valley. It felt like I was staying in an old monastery, adding to the charm and uniqueness of the hotel. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with the right management guiding them to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay. The room amenities were exceptional, with air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a sitting area, providing enhanced comfort. I also appreciated the free toiletries, electric kettle, television, and flat-screen TV. The parquet floor added a touch of elegance to the room, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The hotel's dining bar/lounge area was the perfect spot to relax and unwind, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to start the day off right.
I highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The location of this hotel is simply breathtaking. Just outside a lovely village surrounded by the incredible landscape of the hills, it is a true hidden gem. the old monastery sits on a beautiful hilltop, offering stunning views that will take your breath away. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff provide exceptional service. the breakfast is delicious, with a wide range of options to satisfy every palate. the facilities, such as the swimming pool, are well-maintained and perfect for relaxation.
The hotel can get quite busy during wedding events, which may impact the overall tranquility and atmosphere.
